- Take full responsibility for day-to-day warehouse and yard operations.
- Lead and direct warehouse staff, setting clear standards for organisation, preparation and asset care.
- Oversee picking, preparation and dispatch of specialist structural components, tools and event infrastructure.
- Manage returns, inspection and maintenance processes to ensure equipment is kept in safe, working condition.
- Maintain accurate stock and asset control across marquee systems, power, lighting and general event kit.
- Ensure the warehouse and yard remain organised, safe and operationally efficient.
- Support the implementation of improved systems and processes in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Reduce loss, damage and avoidable site issues through disciplined handling and storage.
- Ensure H&S compliance across all warehouse and yard activities.
Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience managing a warehouse or yard operation within construction, events, staging, modular builds or a similar asset-heavy environment.

Strong working knowledge of structural components, tools, plant and temporary works materials.

Experience leading and directing warehouse teams with clear accountability and standards.

Confident maintaining stock accuracy and asset control in a fast-moving operation.

Practical understanding of maintenance, inspection and equipment care.

Comfortable contributing to process improvements and adapting to strengthened systems.

Organised, disciplined and solutions-focused.

Forklift and/or Moffet trained.

Full UK driving licence required.
- Flatbed trailer (4×4 towed) driving experience desirable.
