We are recruiting a skilled and proactive site manager to lead our location install crews at client locations across the UK, helping us support big names like the BBC, Netflix, ITV, Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Festival, Live Nation and Cambridge University.

Who are we recruiting?
As one of our Marquee Foremen, you will lead your tight-knit crew in the smooth and efficient installation and dismantling of event and film location installations (including marquee structures) at client locations across the UK. Reporting to the Operations Team, you will be the primary point of contact on location, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, within agreed timelines, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Your responsibilities will be to;
- Lead your crews in the prep, pack, install and derig of event and film location equipment, including medium to large marquees, furnishings, flooring, power and lighting equipment and more.
- Efficiently and safely transport equipment to event and film locations across the country
- Ensure paperwork and quality control is completed, and you are leaving your installations in the best and safest condition.
- Lead your crews in custom build projects (basic construction) in the workshop
- Create a great working environment for your crew, and get the best performance out of them. You will contribute to performance improvement discussions and exercises, as well as team bonding experiences.
What type of person are we looking for?
We are looking for a strong and effective leader, with great communication skills and the ability to grasp a varied range of technical and structural knowledge. Plans can rapidly change in the events industry, and you will need to be able to troubleshoot and stay cool to get your job done.
Our site manager is our on-location representative of the company, so a positive and professional attitude is a must-have.

Experience Required
- 2 years’ experience of Team Leadership in a related industry or environment (required)
- Clean driving license for at least 2 years and own car (required)
- Experience of building marquees of any type (required)
- Experience of working with power tools and following construction plans (required)
- Experience of working in outdoor events or outdoors (required)
- Experience of towing flatbed trailers and/or forklift trucks (desirable)
- A recognised entry-level electrical certification (desirable)
