Showbase was approached by a leading UK property development company to conceptualise a Christmas installation to promote their new residential space in the centre of Manchester.
The concept we pitched and executed was a micro Christmas market, with cosy tipi lounges, kids’ activity spaces and a series of custom-built food huts.
Returning for 2022, we expanded the installation to include a 300-tree illuminated walkway leading up to a 20ft centrepiece tree. The walkway added extra festivity, and moved residents and visitors to key points around the square.
2023’s offering incorporated ideas from the previous winter installations, as well as a new location that the developer wanted to promote.
